About

I am a motivated and go-ahead Electrical Engineer with high-level skills learned during university years and increased during my work. I am particular interested in R&D, project engineering and management in the electrical – energy sector. Since 2011, I have been working at CESI S.p.A. (www.cesi.it) in the Consulting, Solutions & Services division - Power Systems and Markets Regulatory business area. Since I wanted to increase my experience overseas, during my studies I applied and won a fellowship at Fermilab, a very important centre for particle physics near Chicago. In addition, currently I am working in Dubai Offices of CESI. During my free time I like spending time with my friends and doing sports, especially hockey and beach-volleyball.

I applied and won a fellowship (founded by ISSNAF-Italians Scientists and Scholars of North America Foundation), at Fermilab in Chicago, the most important place for the study of particle physics in U.S.A. I was in an international team of researchers at the superconducting magnet laboratory, where I studied protection systems against quench phenomenon and made experimental tests in order to understand the physical properties of superconductive magnets. The experience was very exciting, thanks to the international contest and to the innovative work.

The Title of my Bachelor thesis is “Analysis of setup for the characterization of thin magnetic materials”. Thanks to my course of study I acquired the basic concepts of Electrical Engineering. Most important courses covered electrical systems for energy, electrical machines, electrical systems, electromagnetic fields, circuit theory, industrial automation, electrical instrumentation and measures.

The Title of my Master thesis is “Development of methods of measurements for characterization of current distribution in electromagnetic launchers”. During my course of study I improved my knowledge related to the world of electrical engineer. Principal topics of my studies were: construction principles, modelling, regulation and optimization of the operation of electrical power plants, planning and operation of electrical power system, construction, modelling and control of electrical machines, study of electromagnetic fields.
