Phum Boon Lim

Boon Lim is a driven and passionate entrepreneur with a strong focus on environmental sustainability. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Quantity Surveying from the University of Salford, which he earned in 2013. In 2018, he obtained a Master of Business Administration from SEGi University. His education has equipped him with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage his business. He started his career in the construction industry as a Project Coordinator and worked his way up to Assistant Project Manager before moving on to Advancecon Infra Sdn Bhd as a Contract Manager. At Advancecon Infra Sdn Bhd, Boon Lim was responsible for the operations of submission of tenders and preparation of cost estimates, as well as the selection of subcontractors and suppliers for all construction projects. He was later re-designated to Project Manager, where he was overseeing projects valued at over RM100 million. In 2019, Boon Lim co-founded Advancecon Solar Sdn Bhd, a company that focuses on solar development and is a Registered PV Investor (RPVI). As the person in charge of overall business development, he successfully secured several solar rooftop projects and a Solar Farm under the large scale solar 4 (LSS4). Currently, Boon Lim is the Co-Founder and CEO of Milieu Solar Sdn Bhd, with overall responsibility for the company's success, including the vision, mission, direction, and strategy. He is a passionate advocate of the solar industry and has a strong environmental mindset. In response to the severity of global warming, Boon Lim founded the company with a mission to inspire greater environmental consciousness in individuals. Boon Lim is also active in the Lions Club of Kuala Lumpur (KL) Elite, a non-profit organization. During the fiscal year 2021/2022, he served as President, leading the execution of service plans, membership growth, and community outreach.
