Developing relationships and community by advising on media, public relations, public engagement, corporate communication programs.

I take ideas from vision to action through project plan development and execution for major initiatives. I work directly with the leadership team to manage competing priorities and support the operations, member experience, and marketing and communication teams to realize company goals.

The Stage Manager (A.K.A Director of Operations) is “in charge of the show” and requires a general understanding of all aspects of the company, supports the entire organization so everything runs smoothly while remaining nimble, and ensures everyone has whatever they need to masterfully do what they do. On the day-to-day, I work with my team on project planning across community engagement, operations, and communications departments. I also develop communications for membership of over 700+ current community members, including crisis communications, based on our community's goals.

Connecting Calgary's vibrant entrepreneurs to local opportunities and partners through the cowork experience. I work with Work Nicer and its members to create more than just a desk in a workspace by coordinating events and contributing to social media. Additionally, my position involves developing communication material to streamline member on-boarding.

The Edmonton Down Syndrome Society and PlanIT Sound of Sherwood Park, Alberta developed a campaign, music video and theme song to promote understanding of the abilities of individuals with Down Syndrome. I contributed to the "Uniquely Me" campaign as one of three performing artists, which included attending and performing at the Society's "Uniquely Me 2014 Fashion Show and Fundraiser".

The Government of Alberta's YOUth Power Campaign is aims to connect young adults with opportunities that develop their work experience and shape the direction of their future careers. PlanIT Sound of Sherwood Park Alberta created a musical campaign as a promotional tool for the on going events. As a supporting artist, I performed at the first YOUth Power Event in 2012. The YOUth Power initiative continues to hold events for the youth of Edmonton.
