I have experience working on a mixed gender Child and Adolescent PICU and Male and Female Adult Acute units. The role involved forming therapeutic relationships with the patients, preventing and managing challenging and aggressive behaviours, writing concise daily reports for senior staff and being a crucial member of the multidisciplinary team, liaising with healthcare professionals across multiple channels.

I worked at The Shuffle House as a bartender and waiter. Often working busy shifts under pressure, I took initiative in prioritising tasks between the two roles to maximise efficiency within the restaurant. My role involved interacting with customers in an honest, respectful and polite manner whilst being attentive to manager requests.

My role at Saint John’s Yard involved both assistant manager tasks and serving customers their food and drink. I opened up the bar on my own and dealt confidently with customer enquiries over the phone. I co-operated well within the team to ensure tasks were completed efficiently to ensure excellent customer service. The Covid-19 pandemic brought about unique responsibilities in pubs. I maintained my integrity, ensuring that customers were adhering to the pub's new social distancing rules even when customers became confrontational. I communicated calmly, politely and assertively in these situations and maintained resilient in enforcing the rules whilst carrying on work as usual.

Working with Next Management I consulted with a new team on each project, so had to build rapport quickly and adapt to different working styles. I took on board constructive feedback and adapted to deliver on clients' wishes. I arranged travel and accommodation for myself across Europe including living and working alone in Milan for a month. I also negotiated contracts from two agencies and kept track of my own finances. The role required total flexibility in responding to a hectic work schedule, often working at short notice.

I achieved an exceptional First in my research dissertation for which I coordinated a large experiment of over 200 participants with Dr. Helga Dittmar. It examined the impact of exposure to materialistic Instagram accounts on young women's psychological well-being, specifically examining the role of self-discrepancies. I am looking to have this published in a Social Psychology Journal.
