A workforce of 200+, Assembling White Goods (Large cavity ovens) for both the Domestic and Export markets.

•Responsible for the Purchasing, Logistics and Materials Management functions for both Adelaide and Melbourne facilities. •Direct all plant purchasing functions. •Negotiate all purchase orders for all production & non production materials. •Develop purchasing agreements and contracts. •Orchestrated plant-wide inventory planning meetings •Negotiated pricing of annual purchases in excess of $10M •Management of both domestic and international freight activities. •The management of external relationships such as Local and International Suppliers, Import and Export organizations and Government agencies. •Development of new lean practices to support Inventory Reduction and a more streamlined supply chain solution.

•Responsible for the Materials Planning and Logistics functions for three manufacturing plants in South Australia. •The Management of 18 Staff members and 70 direct and in-direct operators across two sites over a two shift operation. •Responsible for E&O, supplier schedule claims, new product launches, KPI reporting and other support activities. •Materials Handling department, which control all Direct and Indirect material, inventory records and cycle checking. •Management of Domestic and International freight activities, and their performance. •The expediting team is responsible for issuing of local and imported material schedule’s in-line with customer demands for all suppliers. Liaison with suppliers concerning scheduling, part follow-up, supply issues, inventory levels and performance reviews.
