The U.S. Navy is comprised of more than 500,000 Sailors and civilians, nearly 300 ships and submarines, and more than 3,700 aircraft. What happens on the water affects us all. To understand the impact the U.S. Navy makes in our daily lives, think of the 70-80-90 rule. Established in 1960, Electric Motor and Contracting remains one of the largest independently owned motor and pump shops in the U.S. with over 150,000 square feet of facility. Our main campus holds a large motor repair facility, machine shop, large pump repair facility, a switchgear repair division as well as a Nuclear radiologically contaminated repair facility.
