Utilized Solidworks daily in the development of new designs and components for fabric and plastic film web handling equipment. Worked with clients and vendors during the design and implementation phases to ensure success of the project. Responsible for all facets of mechanical design including customer interface, conceptual layouts, mechanical design, 3D modeling, 2D drawing creation for the shop, creating assembly drawings with BOM’s, and managing drawing change control.

Responsible for the project management, design, procurement and manufacturing of process tooling and assembly fixtures for new product launches. Responsible for checking drawings, creating bill of materials, and managing drawing change control. Utilized tools such as Pro-E (2001 & Wildfire), ME10 and AutoCAD for design. Worked with the internal manufacturing engineers as a team in developing and implementing ideas for cost reduction and capital projects.
