He currently serves as President of Manufacturing and Operations at Canadian Solar Inc. (Nasdaq: CSIQ), directing end-to-end operational footprints primarily in North America. His previous leadership includes serving as General Manager at Sunergy (Nasdaq: CSUN), driving the industrialization of high-efficiency solar energy solutions at Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS), and leading advanced process integration, product engineering, and novel failure analysis methodologies at GlobalFoundries. Complementing his corporate tenure, he has also served the academic community as an Adjunct Professor at FuZhou University.Dr. ZHENG holds an Honors Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS), completed under a scholarship awarded by the Singapore Ministry of Education. He earned his Doctorate in Semiconductor Science and Engineering through a joint research framework between NUS and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), sponsored by both academia and industry. A recipient of numerous professional accolades, he has co-authored over 20 technical publications and holds more than 20 international patents and trade secrets.
