Worldwide provider of product and service solutions for enclosing, protecting, and cooling electrical and electronic systems for medical, commercial, defense, and energy industries.; Maintain 3,000 electronic and electrical mechanical components, including power supplies, DC/DC converters, and filters, totaling $4M+ in worth. Manage hardware, gaskets, overlays, and labels. Secured 85% of all fasteners on Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) program at point of use, making all hardware expensed and eliminating receiving/stock-to-floor transactions and accounts payable (AP) issues. Realized savings of $12K. Reduced fastener suppliers to single source, leveraging cost reductions and cost avoidance of 9% on PEM fasteners in one year; reduced overall fasteners spending by $3.5K. Combined fan usage with wire harness usage for cost reduction of $4K to date. Bonded Emerson power supplies with Arrow Electronics and worked with Channel Well Technologies (CWT) to reduce lead time and costs by negotiating liability blanket purchase orders (POs). Both exercises saw cost savings/avoidance of $8K. Eliminated six electronic suppliers based on cost and on-time delivery (OTD) performance, realizing savings of 16% ($9K) within nine months. Integrated work orders from closed facility to new office as member of transition team.
