Development and realization of a suspension and stability system for a levitating Hyperloop prototype. Further responsible for battery integration and physical battery safety. Conceptual design of subsystems using agile methods such as scrum. Mechanical design using Siemens NX including DFM/DFA, FEA, GD&T. DoE and testing of the respective subsystems for proper functionality. Hands-on manufacturing experience in carbon fiber lamination, soldering, assembling, milling, and rapid prototyping. Decreased subsystem weight by over 80%.

Thesis Student

Development and realization of a soft robotic prismatic actuator to extend a soft robotic arm's reach. Conceptual and mechanical design of the prototype using CAD and FEA. Design and fabrication of soft pneumatic actuators (pneumatic artificial muscles). Design of a controller using C++. IEEE publication to IROS, Kyoto 2022.

Makerspace Manager

Responsible for the machinery and its maintenance at a student maker space. Helping students with the realization of their projects and giving introductions and manuals for machines such as 3d printers and laser cutters.

Mechanical Engineering
Passed with distinction (>5.75/6) Thesis: Built a modular high performance anthropomorphic robotic finger capable of lifting 7kg and enduring sever impacts at over 10m/s through fully integrated joint overload clutches. Full system design and manufacturing with integrated joint sensing, BLDCs, ball-screws, worm gears and linkages. Built a novel worm gear differential for the MCP joint.
