I completed a large software engineering project for the CSIR as part of my third year studies. The project involved capturing a physical interface via optical solutions and executing music based on the placement of blocks on the physical interface. We received an award for this project and an article about it was published in the CSIR's publication.

I was the team leader of a team of 5 BIT students who conducted a complete information audit at the WSP Group Energy division in Bryanston, South Africa.

Interactive gaming demonstrator. Demonstrated interactive, immersive learning techniques through gameplay.

I was a member of an asset auditing team tasked with a complete asset audit of the Nedbank software testing area.

I have installed, upgraded and supported a multitude of computers (in terms of both hardware and software) and networks (routers, switches, cabling). Discontinued in favour of software development, however I maintain a very strong interest.

I passed each of the 45 modules of the Baccalaureus in Information Technology (BIT) degree without repeating a module or writing a supplementary examination, receiving 21 distinctions and 3 academic exemptions. I achieved a cumulative percentage average of 72.58%. The BIT degree is equivalent to an honours degree, allowing me to pursue further studies at a master's level.

Attended a 2 week course on Java 8 upgrader topics.

I received 6 distinctions I passed both English Second Language and English First Language classes. Subjects: Afrikaans First Language (distinction), English First Language (distinction), English Second Language (distinction), Mathematics (distinction), Computer Studies (distinction), Accounting (distinction), Economics (79%).
