Full responsibility for day to day operations of a multidisciplinary Construction & Engineering recruitment firm in Dubai. Working across large scale building contractors, property developers, consultancies, architects, design firms, epc contractors, infrastructure contractors, rail/metro - Delivering permanent, contract & outsourced recruitment services to a wide variety of major international business groups - across the Middle East, Asia and Africa regions. Main focus on Dubai, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman and some parts of Africa. Inhouse Outsourced experience includes: 3.5years in ALEC Dubai's head office, a major multibillion contractor in the UAE and GCC region. Working as company recruitment manager for head office positions and all project related hiring. Reporting to the Division Managers & Director team. 1year in ASGC groups Dubai head office as Head of Talent, a major construction group - overseeing key head office positions and all project related hiring, reporting to the HRD and CEO. Based on the project Site office for (ACCIONA / GULERMAK) - CWJV (Dubai Metro Joint Venture) - where we were contracted to exclusively deliver and hire up to 100 professional positions across a huge variety of disciplines for initial phase after award of the $2bn Dubai Metro project. Working across Construction, Project Controls, Quality, HSE, LEED, Engineering, Design for site development, earthworks, utilities, track, viaducts, bridges, tunnelling and finally stations.

Construction Recruitment - Ireland & Middle East markets - Operations Director and member of the board of directors within MCR. I set up the middle east recruitment within the business also, travelling over and back to the UAE and Qatar, securing new clients and arranging for them to visit our Dublin offices for recruitment drives. We successfully managed numerous recruitment open days for some major UAE construction companies including ALEC, Al Habtoor Leighton / HLG, Arabtec, Al Shafar, Carillion. Resulting in a high volume of expat placements and relocations to the middle east region.
