Primary strategic adviser to the Adjutant General, staff and Director of State Resources on all matters pertaining to the State Government Employees and human resources management. Supervise 4 employees of the Mississippi Military Department State Human Resources Office, who manage the careers of approximately 1,000 full-time staff members across the state. Develops and administers programs, procedures and guidelines to align the workforce with the strategic goals of the agency. Manage all aspects of human resources for the state government employees and of the Mississippi Military Department including: recruitment, placement, conduct and career management, employee relations, labor relations, equal employment opportunities, position management and classification, pay administration, workers compensation and employee development.
