I had worked as a peer mentor at Green River College for 1 academic year before I transferred. This job is to help new international students to adapt with a new learning method when they first come to the United States. This job provides me many unique skills such as leadership, communication and time management that essential for my future career. • Help international student’s transitions to American Campus life by providing guidance on building a class schedule, what services the college offers, and answering questions concerning living in America. • Act as a guide for campus tours for new incoming students. • Be a leader in a group of new students through the quarters.
