Plan, direct, manage and responsible for the quality, performance and the efficiency of the Civil/Structural Department. Provide organizational and procedural direction including the development, implementation and maintenance of a quality assurance/control program necessary to achieve the company's objectives. Implement standards within the Department located in; and act as a technical resource for all groups. Establish procedures for the Department to ensure the technical accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Work with project managers to budget, plan and schedule manpower resources which include determining a division of responsibility to best utilize manpower from offices located in; meet deadlines, complete project requirements and to meet the financial objectives of the project. Review, monitor and provide technical assistance for work in progress to ensure accuracy, completeness, quality of the deliverables and constructability. Review project schedules and costs as compared to the budget to determine project progress. Provide the technical leadership and assistance to the Departmental staff to develop designs and calculations. Develop tools and methods for Departmental use to increase efficiency and performance for completing projects according to schedule and on budget. Mentor the Department staff to increase capabilities through skill assessment, development, monitoring, and improvements. Identify and advise on critical issues and situations having potential impact on project scope, schedule and/or budget. Assist in marketing the company's expertise and services by meeting with clients to provide engineering information and expertise. Assist in the development of strategic plans for the company consistent with the established long and short term goals of the company. Represent the company and maintain relationships with major customers and suppliers.

Design and shop detailing for fabrication of steel structures for the grain industry such as towers, bins, silos, bridges, catwalks and platforms.

• Provided architectural and structural design for approximately 30 residential houses. • Provided architectural and structural design for a church. • Developed the architectural and structural design for the expansion of a 5 star hotel (Mggar Bay Hotel, Gozo, Malta) • Managed construction of the hotel (Mggar Bay Hotel) to ensure compliance with design drawings and safety regulations.
