Peter Kaye
Founder and Operating Partner — Interim and Fractional CXO Leadership @ PK Growth Partners
About
I’m an operator with a general management mindset who works with leadership teams, boards, and investors during moments of growth, transition, or complexity. Through interim and fractional CXO roles (such as CEO, CMO, or CGO), I help organizations shape growth strategy, build stronger brands, and lead execution with accountability for results. My approach is grounded in a career spent inside organizations, building and leading businesses with direct responsibility for outcomes, and supported by formal general management training. I bring the perspective of an operator, not an advisor. Through PK Growth Partners, I step into interim and fractional CXO roles and serve as an active board member for mission-driven organizations, most often when experienced operating leadership is needed, but a permanent hire isn’t the right solution. My background blends entrepreneurial operating experience (Honest Tea, NuTek Natural Ingredients) with big-company discipline developed early in my career at Nestlé, Danone, Coca-Cola, and Diageo. My leadership roles consistently carried full commercial responsibility, managing brands and businesses across the full marketing mix, including product, pricing, distribution, and promotion, and using brand strategy as a central lever to drive demand, margin, and long-term growth. As an interim or fractional executive, I’ve worked across both for-profit and nonprofit organizations, including Newman’s Own, General Mills’ G-Works Venture Studio, Murphy’s Naturals, and Heifer International. In each case, my role is practical and embedded, working alongside leadership teams to define priorities, build momentum, and deliver measurable results in high-stakes environments. I launched PK Growth Partners to meet a growing need for flexible, experienced operating leadership in entrepreneurial organizations. As a player-coach, I work alongside teams to fill leadership gaps, strengthen capabilities, and turn strategy into execution, offering a fast, flexible alternative to a permanent hire. What I deliver: • Faster progress • Fresh thinking • Candid perspective • Capability lift • Cost-effective impact • A trusted network • Experience navigating the unfamiliar I’m especially drawn to mission-driven consumer brands and organizations where growth, purpose, and performance intersect. If your organization is navigating a moment where experienced operating leadership can accelerate progress, I’m happy to discuss.
