Peter McCullough, MD, MPH

Dr. McCullough is in clinical practice as an internist and noninvasive cardiologist. He went on to complete his internal medicine residency at the University of Washington, cardiology fellowship including service as Chief Fellow at William Beaumont Hospital, and master’s degree in public health at the University of Michigan. Dr. McCullough has broadly contributed on a range of topics in medicine with > 1000 publications and > 700 citations in the National Library of Medicine. He is the editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Cardiovascular Research and Innovation. Dr. McCullough has made presentations on the advancement of medicine across the world and has been an invited lecturer at the New York Academy of Sciences, the National Institutes of Health, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the European Medicines Agency. Dr. McCullough is well known for his major and independent media commentary and US congressional testimony on the pandemic crisis. He is recognized for the McCullough Protocol™ disclosed in “Pathophysiological Basis and Rationale for Early Outpatient Treatment of Infection” appearing in the American Journal of Medicine (August, 2020) with an expanded update in Reviews in Cardiovascular Medicine (December, 2020). He also published McCullough Protocol Base Spike Detoxification™, the first peer-reviewed, scientifically supported approach to manage patients with long pandemic syndromes published in Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons (2023) and CUREUS (2024).
