I was a producer, program host and DJ at 90.7 KSER, independent public radio for the North Puget Sound for over 18 years. I did a weekly radio program called ONE MORE SATURDAY NIGHT featuring the music of the Grateful Dead, Los Lobos, Jimi Hendrix and other jam bands from July 2007 to 2009. Previous to that I produced and hosted a program called EXPOSURE in which I played a variety of musical genres since 1991. I have interviewed Adrian Belew (Frank Zappa, David Bowie, Talking Heads & King Crimson), Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel, King Crimson), Trey Gunn (King Crimson, TU), Pat Mastelotto (King Crimson, Tuner), Bill Bruford (Yes, Genesis, King Crimson), Bill Rieflin (R.E.M., King Crimson), Alan White (Yes, Plastic Ono Band), Jesse Sykes (Jesse Sykes & The Sweet Hereafter) Reid Anderson & Ethan Iverson of The Bad Plus, Michelle Shocked, Carmaig De Forest, Brookhaven, Trespassers William, the California Guitar Trio and the Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players. I also produced several benefit concerts on behalf of 90.7 KSER with the California Guitar Trio, Seattle Guitar Circle, Steve Ball Road Show and the 90.7 KSER Blues Festival featuring Lil' Charlie & the Nightcats.

I was the Executive Director for the Washington Association of Landscape Professionals (WALP). WALP is a trade association representing the landscape installation, maintenance and irrigation industries in Washington State. As Executive Director, I was responsible for the programs and operations of the association. I was a founding Director of the WALP Educational Foundation. I was the Editor for the association monthly magazine, the Northwest Landscape Professional. During my tenure at WALP, our membership had over 450 member firms and businesses, including: Landscape Installation Contractors, Landscape Maintenance Service Providers, Irrigation Installation and Repair Contractors, Arborists, Hardscape and Concrete Contractors, Hydroseeders, Wetlands and Erosion Control Specialists, Landscape Architects and Designers, Wholesale Suppliers, Distributors and Manufacturers serving the Landscape and Irrigation industries.

Urban Landscape Supplies was a Manufacturers Representation and Distribution company that focused on Landscape and Irrigation products. We represented BVC Lodgepole Tree Stakes, Rainbow Chainlock, V.I.T. Products and a variety of other associated products. We established a network of wholesalers who distributed the products to landscape contractors.

I was the owner of Orbit Records, an Independent retail music store. In our brief history, we sponsored many community events and concerts including the solo performance of classical composer Philip Glass at the Everett Performing Arts Center.

President of Lake East Landscape Construction Division. During my tenure at Lake East Landscape, we grew substantially in the Commercial Construction sector, specializing in Multi-Family Apartment Communities, Commercial and Industrial Buildings and Office Parks, Residential Single Family Communities and Open Spaces. I was responsible for Estimating, Sales, Business Administration, Project Management and Human Resources.

I joined Landscape Development, Inc. (LDI) in 1983 in an administrative position, doing all bookkeeping and accounting functions. During my tenure at LDI, I also did Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. I eventually became a Project Manager, overseeing estimating and project management. LDI specializes in landscape installation, maintenance and irrigation projects in California.

I was an Inside Salesperson and branch accountant for the South El Monte branch. This location was the first in Southern California for Ewing Irrigation Products.
