My current research is in the field of nanotechnology and nanomedicine. In addition to this I'm investigating and characterizing new natural sunscreens. I'm using a range of spectroscopy and microscopy techniques, mainly fluorescence based, for these studies. My nanomedicine project includes cell culture work and live cell imaging.

I investigated nanoparticle uptake and transport within living cells. The work had importance in both nano-toxicology and nano-medicine application. The project depended heavily on fluorescence microscopy, advance live cell imaging and image analysis.

I was investigating the self-assembly behavior of the lipid modified anticancer drug clofarabine. The main tools were spectroscopy and electron microscopy.

Apart from my two research projects I was supervising four master students as well as teaching in undergraduate course. The teaching experience was equivalent to one year of teaching spread out over my five years of PhD studies.

Product manager for the Leica Microscopy product line and FISH products. When Leica Biosystems'​ business activity in Sweden was transferred over to Triolab AB from May 1st 2016 I transferred with the business and I'm a part of the Pathology sales and market team. My responsibilities includes sales, market and application tasks such as; Planning of sales and marketing activities in Sweden Market and competitor analysis Responsible for the whole sales cycle Instrument demonstrations and installations User training and education Coordination of service activities Responsible for tender processes Setting price and price negotiation

I took a sabbatical year from my studies at Chalmers University of Technology during which I worked as a full time teacher in science, math, computers and physical education at the high school level at Hedbergska Gymnasium. As the main teacher I was also in charge of grading my students.

Application specialist in molecular pathology and cytogenetic in the European region. Product responsibility microscopy, microscopy based instrumentation and FISH technology. My responsibilities included instrument installation, supporting and training of customers, sales support to our sales managers as well as giving product and company presentations. Was also a part of creating and planning marketing campaigns together with the sales and marketing team.
