This is a new service provided by Griffin Capital primarily in London and the surrounding area. Our mission is to provide a better quality, low-cost alternative to litigating disputes in the UK courts. We offer arbitration, mediation and expert witness services.

I am an investment banker, accountant and tax specialist by training. I started work as an audit clerk and after gaining experience in accounting and company secretarial work specialised in tax in Australia, UK and the US. I moved into investment banking in 1979 with Bankers Trust. Since 2006, I have been involved in acquiring and managing Solar Parks. Prior to that my expertise was in tax-efficient financing, project finance, real estate – construction and long-term finance, PFI, securitisation, off balance sheet financing and other bespoke financing structures for clients.

I started the UK Special Products Group in 1979 with responsibility for tax-based leasing, including cross border large ticket deals and product development. My London group concluded in excess of £1 billion of domestic financing deals and approximately US$1 billion of cross-border financings during the period I headed the group.
