Responsible for managing the receipt, testing, and shipping of used electronic equipment in a 400K facility. Responsibility also included managing accurate inventory. The average volume through the plant was roughly 1M pieces annually. Responsibility included P&L, production goals, and processing service level agreements on two shifts. Since 2011, I have also been directly involved with many large projects. Project scopes included, but were not limited to: IT system integrations, plant consolidations, and frequent layout changes. Highlights - Implemented 5S programs in multiple processing plants. - Led several Kaizen events to reduce cost and improve efficiency. - Helped close and consolidate a processing plant in south Columbus to a plant in east Columbus. This included the transition of staff, and the creation of two additional shifts. - Helped close and consolidate a recycling plant in Minneapolis to the Columbus plant. This included the physical setup, hiring, and training of new staff (temporary and full-time). - Developed a KPI dashboard to present simplified information to the General Manager daily. - Developed production metrics to help monitor and increase efficiency in the production area. - Helped to successfully certify the Columbus, OH site to the RIOS/R2 certification. - Changed inventory put-away process, which resulted in a 10% reduction of required headcount. - Direct involvement with the plant Safety Team.

I transported bulk material in a 6,000 gallon tanker.

I transported bulk scrap aluminum for processing and shredding.

536th Engineer Batallion I was stationed in Panama, and deployed to various areas in Panama, El Salvador, and Ecuador on humanitarian missions to build roads, schools, and small medical centers.
