I am a skilled and competent Master/Skipper with considerable experience on wind farm support vessels (jet propulsion), conventional twin-screw motor vessels and sailing boats. I have also served as an officer in the Finnish Navy, worked in the UK Merchant Marine and on oilrigs in the North Sea and around the world. I am friendly, sociable with good interpersonal skills, conscientious, practical with the ability to apply myself to different situations, and a loyal and trustworthy employee. I am an excellent navigator (including celestial navigation), a good boat handler and proficient in seamanship, including safety, boat management and housekeeping. My objective is to gain experience and sea time towards a MCA Master (Workboat) 500gt unlimited Certificate of Competence.
