My articles have appeared in "Vanity Fair," "People Magazine," "Parade Magazine," the "International Herald Tribune," "Life Magazine." Awards: The Florida Newspaper's award for spot news reporting, the Gannett award for feature writing, the New Mexico associated press award for feature writing, the National Newspaper Guild's award for investigative reporting, the California Newspapers Association for enterprise reporting and the Copley Newspapers "Ring of Truth" award. Also wrote two New York Times best-sellers, "Marilyn: The Last Take," and "Howard Hughes, The Untold Story."

As a former journalist ( the "Los Angeles Times," the "Washington Post," the "Dallas Morning News"), I graduated to books in 1979 ("Hollywood Land and Legend, "The Real Oscar -- History of the Academy Awards") and ten other books...including the best sellers, "Marilyn: The Last Take," (Dutton Books), "Howard Hughes -- the Untold Story," and "Down At the End of Lonely Street -- the Life and Death of Elvis Presley,' "Outgunned -- Up Against the NRA," I also have a public relations background having been public information officer for the California Air National Guard -- Van Nuys for six years.
