Super excited to join the Equinox Gold Team on their "North Star" journey - moving forward with Purpose, Agility, Courage and Execution (PACE) to becoming a quality senior gold producer by committing to operational excellence and execution while adhering to the Core Company Values of Integrity, Excellence, Accountability and Teamwork.

Excited to take on the Lead at Newmont's Ahafo North Project in Ghana and assist in guiding the OneTeam and its key business partners to safely deliver another quality asset within schedule and financial guidelines.

I head up the BR Team and my responsibility is to ensure that we are Operationally ready when we declare commercial production. Key to the project will be the safe execution of asset development and infrastructure relating to the Mine such as haul roads, waste dumps, sediment control structures and stockpiles. An important part of this development is the ramp up of the Operational Head Count, a lot of which will be sourced from our stakeholder communities so onboarding, training and development of these resources will be crucial to meet operational readiness. In addition to the Mine Operational Readiness will be the need to ensure that the Process Team are operationally ready for the start-up and commissioning of the Process Plant. This too will require a focused effort on recruitment and training to ensure that ramp up of suitably trained and skilled personnel is aligned to the project ramp-up/start-up and commissioning milestones.

Successfully led the Mining Team through the final year of construction/development and on into commercial production.
