Equans West-Nederland (formerly: ENGIE Services West) is a key technical service provider in the field of installation technology. Markets in which Equans is active includes utility, energy and industry. Equans is involved in technical projects which includes design, installation, realization, maintenance and advice. Projects are in the field of new built constructions, replacements or modifications of electrical or mechanical engineering installations at office buildings, airports, schools and hospitals. At Procurement I am responsible for all purchasing related to modification and services projects within North Holland and Utrecht regions. These projects comprise a spend up to 2 million euro’s. I am involved in these projects in both tender and execution phase, in which I cooperate with sales, engineering, work preparation, category management, project management and calculation.

Schneider Electric Systems Netherlands N.V. (formerly: Invensys Systems N.V.) is a leading provider of automation and information technology, systems, software solutions, service and consulting to the global manufacturing and infrastructure industries. We design, manufacture, install, test and commission software and computer-based hardware for the automation and regulation of industrial and facility operations, management of certain administrative functions of manufacturing business and simulation of manufacturing process operations. We also provide control, data and measurement instrumentation solutions and service to manage specific parameters of the manufacturing process for the global industrial control and process markets. As a Supply Chain Buyer I am responsible for all project related purchasing of the Schneider Electric / Invensys Systems locations in the Netherlands and Belgium. I am accountable for the design, development and implementation of the regional procurement strategy for various categories of spend. Delivery of cost savings and support local decision making on optimizing the related cost structure.

Responsible for procurement of primary process items for the TNO locations within the Delft area.

Purchasing of mechanical and electrical materials for development and production of micro components (microphones/receivers/systems) used in hearing aids. Operational procurement of all items (general and technical services, NPR and PR materials) needed for business operation. Responsible for Make or Buy decisions of required components. Outsourcing of mechanical materials production for component production. Set-up of the supply chain for these materials during development stage prior to transfer of production to the production location in Vietnam. Responsible for sourcing of materials at suppliers in Europe and Asia and negotiating of supply contracts to ensure the supply chain for production. Creation of a supply group strategy for material groups such as injection molded parts, turning parts, stamped parts and hybrid IC's.

Responsible for procurement of all goods and services for the directorate Corporate Development, the Engineering departments of ATC-NL as well as the regional airports. Purchasing of Instrument Landing System and Radar equipment for Rotterdam and Groningen airport. Execution of European tender procedures in the areas of communication equipment, hiring of IT personnel, accountancy services and HR/marketing services. Creation of purchasing orders and coaching/assisting of colleague Buyers. Improvement of existing purchasing procedures and implementation of standard purchasing work instructions and procedures within the purchasing department.

Procurement of HR capacity (hiring of external candidates through employment companies or independent candidates) in the areas of ICT, Finance en Technology at suppliers to fulfill requests coming from customers of Yacht. Execution of vendor management for strategic customers of Yacht. Supplier selection, negotiate and closure of blanket orders with these suppliers. Manage and optimize the supplier base. Creation of a contract database and supplier procurement matrix for all job competences marketed by Yacht. Supplier evaluation and performance measurement. Renegotiation of 54 hiring contracts, received by a key customer for vendor management, in order to create a reasonable margin and savings for these contracts.

Implementation of a procurement policy for the entire Municipality of Hillegom organization and creation of a policy document to support this. Execution of a procurement scan to map out the total spend of the previous year and to release a procurement plan for the next year in order to accomplish projected savings. Advise stakeholders on all procurement related matters, responsible for all procurement activities in project teams including European tender procedures. Responsible for the execution of the Purchasing Excellence Public program, in order to enhance the procurement procedures within the organization. Coordinating joint procurement activities with adjacent municipalities Lisse and Noordwijkerhout for amongst others telephone switchboard, glass fiber connections, school pupil transportation, printers/copiers and temporary work force candidates.

Procurement of tooling and equipment to support the repair lines for computer parts repair. Closure of blanket orders with preferred suppliers for general and technical services such as building maintenance. Outsourcing and benchmarking of parts repair services at repair vendors on a global scale, at which I achieved savings of EUR 250.000 in a one year period. Creating and implementing a procurement action plan for both repair services and general/technical services.

Procurement of process equipment en MRO articles to support the parts repair lines. Outsourcing of parts repair services at repair vendors in Europe, USA and Asia.

Development of parts repair processes for IBM computer parts. Implementation of process improvements by selecting and purchasing new process equipment for the repair lines. Implementation of ESD compliant and certified areas for all repair lines within 6 months and defending this during an ISO 9000 audit held by KEMA. Development and qualification of a complex Ball Grid Array solder process, have this process qualified by the manufacturing organization in the US, and training operators for this process.

Execution of cost calculations new and existing IBM parts repair processes. Analyzing IBM part manufacturing data and transfer this data by writing work instructions suitable for the repair line operators for servicing and rework of these parts.
