Managing all aspects of production and ensuring the smooth running of the small jet propulsion systems. Providing leadership on health and safety, delivery, efficiency and quality in the business unit all within a given budget. Liaising with vendor business units and purchasing to ensure the on time delivery of subsidiary parts for production. Managing the development, absence and discipline of all employees within Small Jet machining, painting, final assy and packing. Driving continuous improvement activities using lean methodologies throughout all manufacturing processes.

Supervision of two full assembly lines during 24 hrs continuous running of the ground breaking Evoque and Freelander 2 models. Duties include: oHealth and Safety of all employees oDay to day running and manning of the line facilitating holidays whist ensuring seamless running oMaintain impeccable build quality and continuous improvement of internal metrics (QLS, OPR, Lost Minutes) oMaintain and improve all internal policy deployment metrics (quality, cost, delivery and performance) oContinuous improvement of efficiency standards (standard minutes) oPersonal development of each employee both Jaguar contracted and Manpower. oMaintain recognised housekeeping standards oFacilitate Lean improvements and new model year upgrades without disruption to production

Supervision of full assembly line in the production of truck bodies. Duties include: oHealth and Safety of employees oDay to day running of the line oContinuous improvement of build quality (DPU and PPQA) oContinuous improvement of internal efficiency standards ( body hours) oFacilitate Lean improvements without disruption to production oPersonal development plan of each employee oMaintenance of housekeeping standard oELC’s of employees (idea generation) oEnsure smooth transition of all production volume and assignment changes

Supporting the production areas with lean improvement projects and the introduction of the Paccar Production System (PPS). Project Improvements include: oIncreased Standard Hours oGeneration of efficient operator assignments for all production volume changes. PPS Activities include: oWorkplace Organisation (5s) oProcess Standardisation oStandard Operating Procedures (SOP)
