Helped to found i2 Ideas & Issues Advertising. Canada’s first public affairs advertising agency dedicated to providing clients with clutter busting creative and niche audience targeting. As Vice President & General Manager, was responsible for business development, client services, management of human resources, creative development and media planning. Worked closely with some of Canada’s leading public affairs clients, across a broad range of industry sectors, on issues that included: airlines & airports, banking, biotechnology, defence & security, environment, forestry, healthcare, insurance, mining, oil & gas, pipelines, rail, telecom, and urban transit. Gained five years of experience designing and executing bespoke communications and advertising solutions; from branding and infographics to social media shareables and full multi-media, multi-platform advertising campaigns. Provided clients with precision targeted media placement strategies designed to stretch dollars and maximize campaign outcomes.

Served four Members of Parliament, between 2004 to 2011. During this time I gained significant experience with respect to the operation of government, Parliament and Canadian politics. My time in politics afforded me the opportunity to work closely with the media, stakeholder groups from a variety of sectors, and Canadians from coast to coast to coast. It's an experience I feel privileged to have had. Responsibilities included: Policy and legislative research and support; Communications and outreach with media, constituents and stakeholder groups; Office and staff/team management; the senior level management of several election campaigns and a leadership campaign.
