I have worked extensively with drug development, chemical synthesis, and iterative optimization of novel compounds with pharmaceutically relevant properties. Besides my scientific training as a PhD in organic chemistry, I am a structured individual with an inquisitive and optimistic personality. In the workplace, I enjoy the small and large achievements that materialize into tangible progress within a project. Recently, the oncology-focused drug discovery project I worked on during my academic career has materialized into a spinout company called Kripthonite Therapeutics. Kripthonite Therapeutics develops a novel treatment for oxygen-depleted cancer cells in solid tumors, that are resistant to conventional therapies.
