First point of contact for yachts equipment items and propeller shaft systems supplied by Akerboom Yacht equipment. Coordinating service projects. Project manager refit projects. Communicating with customers by telephone, email, letter and face to face. Visit yacht/customer worldwide for quotation purposes. Investigating and solving customers' problems from back office and/or onsite. Provide technical advice and solutions. Prepare proposals and sales contracts. Issue and review warranty claims. Responsible for the planning, recruitment, direction, organization and control of service and refit orders. Keeping records of discussions or correspondence with customers Developing customer service procedures, policies and standards for the service and refits department. Prepare paperwork for onsite services activities. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. Organize meetings with other managers or lead engineers to discuss possible solutions and future improvements. Leading or supervising a team of service engineers.
