Managed daily operations including staff assigning, task delegation, and performance management. Trained and coached new employees. Supported and addressed company policies including employee safety regulations, SQF food safety, and Green Tier environmental program. Collaborated with management to implement a converting machine training program for new operators, which minimized waste and optimized productivity. The initiatives resulted in a 10% increase in efficiency within the first 30 days of new hires operating independently after 4 weeks of one-on-one training, compared to the previous training approach. Solving day-to-day issues and reporting on non-conformance / deviations. Prepared and analyzed end-of-day shift reports, identifying areas for improvements, and implementing solutions to optimize efficiency going forward. Voluntarily managed 3rd party cleaning service including scheduling and inventory management.

Setup and operated converting machines to produce various custom poly bags / products according to job specs. Monitored machine operation and performed regular inspections to meet quality standards. Troubleshooted equipment issues and performed routine maintenance to minimize downtime. Maintained accurate production records and documentation for quality control purposes. Trained and coached new employees on converting machine operation procedures.

Operated slitter machines to accurately cut polypropylene, polyethylene, and laminated film for customers, and in-house. Setup and calibrated slitter machines, including adjusting blades and tension, to achieve precise cuts. Monitored machine performance and adjusted as needed to ensure consistent quality and production efficiency.

Inspected forklifts daily before operations for safety control purposes. Managed all aspects of shipping and receiving operations, including handling incoming and outgoing shipments, packaging, and inventory management. Utilized shipping software to generate shipping labels, documentation, and tracking information. Inspected incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and quantity. Organized warehouse space to optimize storage efficiency and maintained a clean and safe work environment.
