Midlands Mediation Network is an inclusive forum of interested parties committed to working together to raise the profile of mediation as a positive means of resolving conflict. The forum will act to ensure the effective development and sharing of information and good practice within all aspects of mediation across the East and West Midlands

The Bridge is a charity specialising in homeless prevention through housing advice, support and mediation - mainly working in Charnwood, Leicestershire but also offering floating support in Rutland and other parts of Leicestershire.

The service operated with two paid members of staff and twenty volunteer mediators providing neighbour dispute mediation and inter-generation mediation within the borough of Broxtowe. Working closely with Broxtowe Borough Council Peggy helped to develop homelessness mediation to try and prevent 16-17 year olds becoming homeless. Along with other policies, the work proved so successful that the Council was selected to share its expertise in reducing homelessness with other authorities in the region. During Peggy’s time with BBMS she became one of the first mediators to gain Mediation UK competency as well as joining the board of Mediation UK as a trustee and the planning committee of the Midlands Mediation Network.

Peggy is a highly experienced workplace mediator and supports organisations as they respond to workplace disputes and conflict. She facilitates the development and integrations of dispute resolution programmes which encourage appropriate and productive responses to conflict. Peggy applies the values and principles of mediation within her work. Peggy continues to also work in community and inter-generational (homelessness) areas and is the approved external mediator for a growing number of UK organisations.
