Responsible for procuring and managing inventory of all gloves, poly bags, packaging tape, packaging foam and void fill, steel strap, disposable food products and various other products assigned to me. Customer service representative for industrial sales including entering customer orders, providing quotes and merchandising “non-stock” items. Special projects, as assigned, including customer consignment agreements and site visits.

Responsible for raw material purchases for wafer manufacturing plant. Place high volume “one-time” orders for corporate office and manufacturing plant. Negotiate and administer contracts for various products and services for both sites with a combined value of $8M. Obtain quotes and source alternatives in an effort to reduce material and service costs. Procurement card administrator for ZiLOG worldwide. Insured all contracts were cancelled, per each written agreement, when the manufacturing plant was shutdown.

Responsible for raw material purchases including all chemicals and 5” silicon for wafer manufacturing plant. Uninterrupted flow of production materials when ZiLOG filed Chapter 11. First line contact with suppliers to re-establish credit after ZiLOG emerged from bankruptcy.

Responsible for placing and expediting all high volume, small dollar and equipment down purchase orders to support both Nampa wafer-manufacturing plants. Negotiate and administer contracts for various products and services and perform all aspects of total supplier management. On-site trainer for Oracle Purchasing, Inventory and Receiving.

 Directly responsible for spare parts inventory management, forecasting and order placement for a 200mm wafer manufacturing plant; consistently maintained inventory levels well within the established inventory budget. Interfaced with maintenance personnel to coordinate inventory restocking levels and insure timely delivery for daily, monthly/quarterly/annual PM kits and plant shutdown requirements. Provided first line support for all other needs required for maintenance including expediting, sourcing and resolving supplier issues, and was the backup buyer/planner for the 125mm manufacturing plant. Negotiated and administered roughly 25 blanket contracts for various products and services. Actively involved in the implementation of the Oracle Inventory module, including the setup of over 2000 spare parts and raw materials. Performed receiving activities as required.
