Commercial lead for physical trading, sourcing and contracting of solid fuels and strategic raw materials for ArcelorMittal’s Brazilian operations, with strong exposure to international suppliers, global indices and maritime logistics. - Origination, negotiation and execution of physical trades of metallurgical coal, PCI coal, coke, anthracite and petcoke. - Active management of trading risks, including supply reliability, quality deviations, logistics constraints and market volatility. - Development and maintenance of a global supplier network across Australia, USA, Indonesia, Russia (pre-sanctions) and Latin America. - Built and validated business cases comparing different sourcing and portfolio options, considering cost structure, risk profile, operational impact and long-term sustainability - Conducted market intelligence and industry analysis on coal, ferroalloys and metallic raw materials, monitoring global trends, regional dynamics and supply risks. From March 2021 to July 2023, additionally responsible for trading and sourcing of electrodes, ferroalloys (Ti, Mo, V, Nb, B, P), zinc, nickel, copper, metallic manganese, silicon carbide, rolls and rings, managing a yearly traded volume exceeding USD 120 million.

𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐥'𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲. - Development of raw materials/suppliers: coal for PCI injection and lump ores aiming best TCO for the plant. - Process automation of raw materials quality analysis (Coke, Coal, Lump ore and Sinter), using data analysis libraries to monitor the real time results. - Failure analysis of critical equipments in Cast House, PCI Plant and Stock house through FMEA, based on data analysis (Descriptive Analytics). - Development of weekly reports of Blast Furnace's KPIs in Power BI for quick decision making. - Project leader aiming continuous improvement using PDCA/Lean/Six Sigma. - Development of new suppliers/products for taphole clays and drills aiming cost reduction with good performance. - Blast furnace Process data cleaning, data wrangling and data visualization using Python (pandas/numpy/matplotlib)

- Blast furnace data analysis to assist daily decision making. - Development of one-dimensional wear model for Hearth wear monitoring and predicting, based on thermal data analysis (predictive analytics). - Six Sigma project leader aiming production losses reduction in cast house operation (R and Python for statistics and analysis). - Blast furnaces production losses management, conducting root cause analysis (RCA) .

Job rotation within all the operational areas of Ironmaking (Blast furnace, coking plant, sínter plant), focused on blast furnace operation and projects.

Research and Development Department (RDD): Qualification of materials for flexible pipe risers application. Study of mechanical and chemical behavior of different steel grades. Sour service corrosion testing, hydrogen induced cracking tests, Corrosion fatigue and fatigue tests.

Process Technology Department: Process improvement in Steelmaking.
