*Provide vision, direction, and leadership in the Philippine Sports Institute (PSI) as the PSC’s official sports education arm, responsible for capacity-building, licensing, certification, and accreditation programs for athletes, coaches, sports officials, and allied professionals–in alignment with the vision and strategic direction set forth by the Office of the Chairman *Institutionalize sustainable pathways for professional growth, continuing education, and certification that will elevate the quality and credibility of the Philippine sports workforce *Forge partnerships with academic institutions, private sector sponsors, and international sports bodies to augment and enhance a sustainable professional development program for athletes, coaches, sports officials, and allied professionals *Develop and oversee the institutionalization roadmap for the PSI as a permanent unit under the Philippine Sports Commission, with the guidance and direction of the Office of the Chairman *Manage PSI’s budget, personnel, and facilities to ensure efficient delivery of programs and services *Recommend and oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluation of PSI staff and consultants *Establish transparent systems for resource allocation, monitoring, and reporting in compliance with PSC regulations *Submit regular reports and recommendations to the PSC Office of the Chairman on PSI operations, outcomes, and emerging needs *Other tasks as directed by the PSC Chairman

Director for Hospitality & Regulatory Affairs The Director for Hospitality & Regulatory Affairs will lead all hospitality initiatives and oversee compliance with local and national regulations across the entire Tour of Luzon 2025 cycling event. This position ensures a seamless experience for athletes, guests, media, and VIPs while maintaining strict adherence to legal, health, safety, and event-related policies. Key Responsibilities: Hospitality Management: Design and oversee accommodation, transportation, and dining arrangements for athletes, officials, sponsors, and VIPs. Coordinate with hotels, catering services, and tourism offices to ensure quality standards. Manage hospitality zones at race stages and checkpoints, including welcome areas, rest stations, and VIP lounges. Ensure multilingual staff and culturally respectful practices across host areas. Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Liaise with LGUs, the DOT, LTFRB, DOH, and other relevant agencies for permits, licenses, and event clearances. Ensure the event complies with national and local public safety laws, health protocols, and environmental regulations. Monitor insurance coverage and liability waivers for all stakeholders. Address and resolve any compliance issues or regulatory concerns in coordination with the legal team. Team Leadership & Coordination: Supervise hospitality and regulatory compliance teams, assigning roles and managing daily operations during the event. Coordinate closely with Logistics, Medical, Security, and Athlete Services units for cohesive implementation. Lead regular briefings with internal staff and external partners.

• Creating engaging and informative lecture presentations on various topics within sports psychology, such as motivation, performance enhancement, mental skills training, team dynamics, and athlete well-being • Designing and updating course syllabi, selecting appropriate textbooks and materials, and outlining learning objectives for the sports psychology course • Organizing and leading workshops, seminars, or practical sessions to provide hands-on experience and application of sports psychology principles and techniques • Encouraging active participation and facilitating discussions among students to deepen their understanding of key concepts and promote critical thinking • Evaluating student performance through assignments, exams, quizzes, and other assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their learning and development • Offering guidance and support to students outside of class, such as holding office hours for individual consultations, answering questions via email, and providing resources for further study • Keeping abreast of the latest developments, research findings, and best practices in sports psychology through professional development activities, attending conferences, and engaging with relevant literature • Adhering to university policies and procedures, maintaining academic integrity, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student success.

• Sets strategic plan, budget and corporate performance measures • Create policy direction of the Olympic Committee • Ensure that member federations are compliant with POC by-laws • Oversees athlete welfare and well-being • Appointed as Deputy Chef de Mission in the 31st Southeast Asian Games Vietnam.

• Spearheading social projects and increasing market awareness of Muaythai within local communities in collaboration with local governmental units, NGOs and the private sector. • Leading a number of projects across the matrixed organization, such as managing internal controls projects, conducting regular monitoring and analysis of performances, revenue management and budget estimates, and liaising with colleagues to achieve operational objectives. • Conducting regular monitoring and analysis of performances and delivering impartial strategic advice on long-term operational and financial matters. • Managing correspondence with stakeholders and canvassing sponsorship from private corporations and by doing so, developing relationships with both internal and external colleagues. • Strengthening both the presence and participation of women in sports through determining content, developing and delivering presentations at conferences and forming a Women's Commission. • Partnering with the HR team in sourcing, onboarding and implementing the training process of new colleagues as well as developing curricula for student and instructor courses. • Planning, overseeing, and ensuring athlete welfare at national and international Muaythai team tournaments and owning all administrative duties in conjunction with the Muaythai Association, which included but were not limited to financial, scheduling, staffing, and risk and regulatory matters.

• Oversee division policies, programs, and activities pertaining to the overall well-being of NAS student-athletes (nutrition, health and medical, campus residences, guidance counseling) • Formulate strategic plans and key performance measurements to ensure accountability • Coordinate with other divisions on curricular and co-curricular activities • Create external linkages with stakeholders that would be beneficial to NAS • Member of the NAS executive committee • Former BAC Chairperson • Chairperson of the Admissions Committee.
