I produce findings that lead to apt resolutions such as disciplinary actions and convictions, and discovery of critical information integral in averting potential security incidents. ✅ ENGAGING GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, PRIVATE BUSINESSES, AND THE PUBLIC I influenced connections with strategic community partners to drive concerted investigations and security operations – effectively expanding the security sphere of protecting individuals, assets, and organizations. ✅ ADVANCING RESPONSIVE, EFFICIENT, AND FLEXIBLE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES Hands-on in leading operations, I am keen in identifying the difficulties of applying diverse policies and procedures. Combining competent data analysis and assessment with developing up-to-date, creative solutions, I introduce innovations credited to improving regulations, systems, and processes. ✅ MAXIMIZING DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR SAFETY AND SECURITY TEAM Recognizing the key role of collaborative performance, I focus on optimizing the workforce’s skills through multi-platform training, while serving as a subject-matter expert. Chief Of Police
Bridgewater Township Police Department
Bridgewater, NJ
I orchestrate operations of the 2nd largest law enforcement agency in the county – strategically commanding 80+ workforce and >$500K budget to provide safety and security for 44K+ residents. → Build relations with local, state, and federal agencies, corporate partners, and communities. → Secure compliant personnel and operations, adhering to policies and procedures. → Create and execute department-wide budget and monitor spending. → Hire, train, and discipline workforce. 🏆 NOTABLE IMPACTS TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION ❌ Evidence system posed risks with a 20% error rate in evidence tracking and recordkeeping. ACTION: I introduced the Barcoded Evidence Analysis Statistical Tracking (BEAST) System. ✅ Tracking errors were eliminated and access among law enforcement agencies was streamlined – improving recordkeeping and accountability. OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT ❌ Department was understaffed, with 6% personnel reduction due to retirements and hiring restrictions. Sick and disability leaves were also rife due to COVID. ACTION: I activated the 12-hour Pitman Shift Schedule, condensed 6 teams into 4 with more personnel, and employed proactive measures against the pandemic. ✅ Despite shortage, personnel were sufficiently distributed to cover all shifts. In 2021, overtime was reduced by >1K hours. RESOURCE ACQUISITION ❌ Existing Body Worn Camera System was performing poorly. ACTION: I acquired $187K grant to refine system, and executive approval for $500K innovation to existing camera technology. ✅ Department has high-performance camera system with cloud-based storage, redaction program, and speed syncing between personnel and vehicles. EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT ❌ Poor employee wellness affected performance. ACTION: I initiated a wellness initiative allowing officers to workout during their workday. ✅ With 100% participation among sworn personnel, the program reduced job-related stress, raised morale and fitness, and promoted overall health.

Captain of Operations

I also led the Professional Development Bureau in evaluating and determining employee enhancement needs, administering responsive training, and ensuring compliance of personnel to professional standards and certifications. 🏆 NOTABLE IMPACTS COST-EFFICIENT & SWIFT SERVICE ❌ Officers responding to emergencies involving elderly and individuals with special needs would often have to force access to homes. ACTION: I initiated Operation Blue Angel, a campaign encouraging families with elderly and individual with special needs individuals to install lockboxes to store house keys for accessibility of authorized officer during emergencies. ✅ The campaign eliminated damage and excess costs to family members, reduced injury to officers attempting entry, and sped up service delivery to the community.

Lieutenant - Watch Commander
Bridgewater Township Police Department
Bridgewater, NJ
Leading a team of 40 law enforcement personnel and with core financial resource amounting to $379K, I kept community safe through comprehensive and cost-efficient patrol operations. I also steered efforts to preserve the department’s integrity, being 1 of 8 leaders selected to investigate misconduct and policy violations among personnel. → Oversaw efficient use of funding and people through effective budgeting and scheduling. → Evaluated personnel performance, delivered training needs, and ensured compliance to standards and certifications requirements. → Reviewed reports to assure content continuity and coherence. → Managed fleet procurement budget. 🏆 NOTABLE IMPACTS PERSONNEL TRAINING AND COMPLIANCE ❌ Government agencies mandated certain training and qualifications for law enforcement officers. ACTION: I evaluated professional development needs of all officers, assigned mandatory training, and organized schedules through a software system to ensure training does not conflict with staffing needs. ✅ Officers received training as mandated and earned necessary licenses, permits, and certifications. FLEET MAINTENANCE AND COST REDUCTION ❌ Patrol vehicles were poorly maintained. ACTION: I created a rotating schedule to allow downtime and cleaning between vehicle usage. I also assigned vehicles to group of officers to encourage accountability. ✅ Overall wear-and-tear on the vehicles was reduced, minimizing maintenance costs and out-of-service time.

Traffic Sergeant

With 4 team members, I planned, monitored, and executed daily traffic safety operations. I partnered with public and private agencies in critical accident responses, investigations, and policy development. → Served as SME on work zone safety and traffic-related issues for pre-construction meetings and township planning. → Developed and controlled budget; and prepared, coordinated, and administered grants. → Assessed reports for accuracy, completeness, legibility, and timeliness; and maintained records on traffic studies, speed surveys, DWI enforcement, and crash reports. 🏆 NOTABLE IMPACTS POLICY AND PROCEDURE DEVELOPMENT │ BACKGROUND CHECKS ❌ Existing ordinance gave rise to issues of low fee collections by towing companies and lack of disciplinary actions from township for policy violations. ACTION: In collaboration with tow companies, tow union, and township, I advanced a new ordinance that holistically addressed needs of all parties involved. ✅ New ordinance was adopted into law – improving safety in tow operations and balancing the interests of the public and tow companies. GRANTWRITING │ RESOURCE ACQUISITION ❌ Cellphone violations, careless or reckless driving in high crash areas, and DWI incidents were increasing beyond the capacity of department’s limited personnel. ACTION: I created grant applications to fund extra patrols on roads with high rates of violations. ✅ The department won grants that provided funding for additional officers to patrol the roadways within the township.
