* Project on ‘Scopes of Automation in Outbound Rail Execution’. * My work was to identify the areas of manual operation and suggest the possible solutions to make process more efficient, more accurate, less time consuming and cost effective.

* Intern at IOCL 15MMTPA Panipat Refinery and Panipat Naphtha Cracker Plant. * Project on Vibration Measurement and Analysis. * Learnt about the process control, field instruments to measure pressure, temperature, level, flow, vibrations and the distributed control system used in control room to control the units. * Learnt about the distributed control system, programmable logic controller which is used to control the process parameters from the control room.

* 5 Days on campus training. * Learnt basic concepts of the distributed control system ‘Centum CS3000’. * Taught about the concept of field control station (FCS) and human interface station (HIS).

* Learnt the basics of AtMega16 microcontroller, programming and embedded systems. * Developed a keypad controlled car, digital piano, temperature alarm and home security system.

* Refinery Capacity Enhancement Projects * Spares management, procurement and purchase requisition for Control Valves of all Units of Refinery * Maintenance of all Control valves of refinery. * Engineering and maintenance of GE PLC & SCADA. * Calibration of field instruments with Beamex MC5P Multifunction calibrator in instruments workshop. * Preparation of instruments datasheets, specifications and bill of materials for new installations. * Technical Bid Evaluation. * Execution of MOC and Projects. * Pre engineering and Feasibility Study for Upgradation of various PLC. * Control Valve spares Inventory Optimisation.
