As Robert-Bosch-Stiftung Fellow: Assisted on the preparation of communication activities during the German EU Presidency 2007, served as member of the coordination group for the preparation of the accompanying cultural events, and worked closely with the German media, PR agencies, and other partners. Conducted consultations at the Permanent Representation of Germany to the EU in Brussels with the government officers, and representatives of German media, EU institutions and communication agencies in Brussels.

Worked for diverse organisations and companies such as International Monetary Fund/World Bank, ŠKODA Auto, a. s., Feedback Data Ltd., SAP, Telefilm Saar GmbH.

Promoted the company and strengthened its reputation abroad via diverse communication channels. Created its international website, managed social media, event logistics and assisted on PR strategy.

Worked as part-time consultant on the publicity of a project in the framework of the Integrated operation programme (co-financed by the European Union´s European Regional Development Fund).

As Robert-Bosch-Stiftung Fellow: Drafted information papers on key pharma issues, analyses of the EU health care systems, assisted on preparation of the company´s two-year EFPIA presidency, was responsible for time management, co-drafting presidency programme, media plan, prepared dossiers for the CEO.

Worked at institutions of the German public administration and in the business sector with focus on preparation and holding of the German EU Presidency 2007 and EU affairs.

The responsibilities of this position included: drafting communication strategy paper on EU affairs for 2005 and 2006, communicating with EU institutions, member of the Working Party on Information and Transparency of the Council of the EU, managing budget allocated for the implementation of the communication strategy in 2005 (EUR 2 million), financial supervision of the Czech EUROPE Direct information points of the European Commission, setting-up the Czech network of EU information centers (Eurocenters).

As Robert-Bosch-Stiftung Fellow: Assisted on preparation of communication activities and enlargement of the German information Center (GIC) network in view of the German EU Presidency 2007, worked closely with the German embassies on the Public Diplomacy concept and its evaluation methodology. Conducted consultations on the Finnish EU Presidency 2006 with the representatives of the German Embassy, Foreign Office, Government Office and Finnish media partners in Helsinki (December 2006).

Attended EP´s Committee meetings, followed EP´s legislative work, drafted minutes and briefing notes, carried out translations, followed plenary sessions in Strasbourg and voting results, drafted press releases, carried out media monitoring, and prepared the visit to the EP for the Czech deputies and senators.

Supported the administration in preparation of commission meetings (briefing notes, draft amendments, translations), communicated with the CoR representatives, assisted on preparations of two plenary sessions.

Activities and Societies: Worked part-time during my studies at the DAAD Information Centre in Prague (2000 - 2003) - provided consultations on DAAD scholarship programmes, and carried out translation work.
