As a Purchasing Manager in the food industry, I lead the execution of strategic purchasing initiatives to optimize cost, quality, and supplier reliability. With a strong focus on local sourcing, I drive the development and implementation of effective strategies that align with business objectives and meet both current and future needs.

My main responsibilities were: Selection of suppliers and materials which will meet QCD requirements following purchasing policies and procedures. Optimization of price, delivery and terms through analysis, collaboration and negotiation. Timely clean launch, including purchase requisition coordination for samples, pre-series and mass production parts, collection of documents from supplier for parts approval and problem solving. Supplier management, including participation in supplier evaluation process, supplier communication. Product change notification and supplier production discontinuation management. Monitoring of market trends and conditions to keep abreast with industry and technology trend. Purchasing production consumables, tools and machine parts. Managing the budget for the indirect spending and capital projects. I was the capital project leader for over 50 projects related to new machines for the production, internal construction of new machines, build up of the infrastructure needed to implement ERP system, large building modifications, CI projects, IT projects and others.
