I am working as a Head of Department (Manager Store ) in Head office , and managing team build, training schedules, inventory management , warehouse management, using the methodology of 6s and kaizen large scale project at site multiple stores , Highway Projects, Railway Project, Metro Projects, Buildings, Water Supply, Power supply etc.

I take a moment to appreciate the journey that has shaped my professional life in the construction industry. With over 17+ years of experience in Store Management, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to some of India’s most critical infrastructure projects—including NHAI highways, buildings, railways, metro systems, and water supply initiatives. Currently, I serve as Head of Department – Stores at STCPL Group, where I lead the store operations from our Head Office, overseeing all active project sites. My role is multifaceted and deeply impactful, involving everything from material management and inventory control to budget planning, team leadership, and strategic reporting to top management and the Board of Directors. 🏗️ Core Responsibilities & Achievements: • Spearheading new store setups across diverse project locations • Managing bulk construction materials like aggregates, sand, cement, TMT, HSD, and bitumen—the backbone of road and building construction • Leveraging ERP & SAP MM (HANA) to maintain accurate records, optimize inventory levels, and implement ABC analysis for smarter decision-making • Conducting site visits to audit store operations, mentor store personnel, and introduce improvements in working style and time management • Driving operational excellence through 6S and Kaizen methodologies, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and continuous improvement • Designing warehouse layouts, scheduling material flow, and controlling costs to align with project budgets • Recruiting, training, supervising, and appraising staff to build high-performing teams • Resolving queries and complaints from site store in-charges, ensuring smooth communication and accountability • Overseeing pricing, stock control, and reconciliation of materials, while maintaining detailed statistical and financial records • Reporting directly to senior leadership, providing insights that support strategic decisions and project success.
