ICANN, a multi-stakeholder organization, oversees the global Internet’s names and numbers. It functions similarly to the ‘United Nations’ within the realm of the Internet. Its governance extends to internet providers, resellers, non-profit associations, and business companies, among others. I represent ABES associates at ICANN´s Business Costituency (BC)

President ABES, the Brazilian Software Association, is the most representative entity in the sector with approximately 2 thousand associated and affiliated companies, distributed in 24 Brazilian states and in the Federal District, responsible for the generation of more than 230 thousand direct jobs and a turnover of US $ 22 billion per year. The companies associated to ABES represent approximately 85% of the sales of the segment of development and commercialization of software in Brazil. Since its foundation on September 9, 1986, the entity has carried out the mission of representing industry in the legislative and tax areas, proposing and directing policies aimed at strengthening the value chain of the Brazilian Software and Services Industry (IBSS), in defense intellectual property and anti-piracy of national or international software, and support initiatives to promote research, development, innovation and development of national software.

Talua markets collaborative classroom equipment in Brazil, including interactive whiteboards (IWB). Until 2011 Talua was a Registar Authority (AR - Autoridade de Registro) certified by the Brazilian Federal Government to issue digital identities working with Certisign Certification Authority.

CertMaster was in the Digital ID business as a Brazilian official Registar Authority (AR - Autoridade de Registro), able to issue official digital IDs. CertMaster had 14 agencies in São Paulo area, Salvador and other cities

Divertire markets consumer educational software. Divertire publishes and distributes Coelho Sabido series, Os Caça Pistas series and other educational software. Divertire represented Promethean, a British leading manufacturer of Interactive whiteboards and classrooms.
