Led the integration of newly acquired operations (UniToledo and Wyden). Directly responsible for Centro Universitário Estácio da Bahia, a unit with 10,000+ students, ~400 employees, and annual revenue exceeding BRL 100 million. Accountable for all areas of the operation: Commercial/Sales, Student Relations, Academic, Administrative & Finance, Human Resources, and Online/Distance Learning (EAD) Operations. Responsible for the company’s budget planning and execution. Ensured adherence to all institutional processes. Acted as the University Center’s representative across the state of Bahia, negotiating with suppliers and multiple government bodies. Ensured full compliance with the regulator (Ministry of Education). Oversaw and guaranteed the Company’s Quality Program.

Director and Rector of Estácio da Bahia University Center. Unit with more than 10,000 students, approximately 400 employees, and annual revenue exceeding BRL 100 million. Accountable for all operational areas: Commercial (Sales), Student Relations, Academic Affairs, Finance & Administration, Human Resources, and Distance Learning (EAD) operations. Responsible for preparing and executing the company budget and ensuring compliance with all institutional processes. Acts as the University Center’s representative across the entire state of Bahia, negotiating with all suppliers and multiple government bodies. Ensures full compliance with the regulatory authority (Ministry of Education) and oversees adherence to the company’s Quality Program.

Responsible for Estácio’s operations in Feira de Santana. Accountable for all functional areas—Commercial, Student Relations, Academic Affairs, Finance & Administration, Human Resources, and Distance Learning (EAD) Operations. Led the preparation and execution of the annual budget; ensured compliance with all institutional processes; negotiated with all suppliers and multiple government bodies; guaranteed full compliance with the Ministry of Education (MEC) regulations; and oversaw delivery of the company’s Quality Program.

Administration and maintenance of the Bahia and Fortaleza campuses (15 buildings), serving approximately 30,000 people across the sites. Management of a team averaging 120 direct and indirect staff (maintenance and cleaning). Cost and investment planning and control (CAPEX & OPEX) for the Operations Directorate. Management of the university’s structural/infrastructure projects. Accountable for the new Tancredo Neves Campus end-to-end—from planning to delivery—14,000 m² with modern infrastructure. Member of the Institutional Reaccreditation Committee—primary liaison for business continuity and regulatory compliance with the Ministry of Education (MEC). Preparation and control of the Operations Directorate budget. Authoring and implementation of the UNIFACS Operations Manual. Project lead for the full renovation of the health sciences facilities and construction of the new gastronomy complex at UNIFACS. Led the construction/enablement of 50 new classrooms for the institution. Implemented accessibility processes across all UNIFACS academic buildings. Created an Operations Excellence program with KPIs. Member of the committee for the new Lapa University Campus—from planning through execution—serving as General Manager across Marketing, Sales, Operations, Academic Affairs, Finance, and Human Resources.

Start of activities as Administrative and Financial Manager. Responsible for the implementation and management of the Brazil operation of a multinational with nationwide presence and branches in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Bahia, and Espírito Santo. Definition of all administrative processes, hiring, negotiation with suppliers, setup of branches, and economic-financial feasibility study and market mapping (identifying the best locations for headquarters and imports). Responsible for preparing the company budget — R$50 million. Negotiation and enablement of the tax benefit FUNDAP (Fundo de Desenvolvimento das Atividades Portuárias), generating improvements in cash flow and EBTIDA. Negotiation with all suppliers and various government sectors. Monitoring of labor-related legal claims. Integration trip to the Spanish headquarters in order to train and align all Group processes. Trip to Panama and Uruguay to conduct a study for opening a logistics center for Latin America. Implementation of PDCA management models and strategic planning.

Promotions achieved: Administrative and Financial Supervisor / Financial Analyst / Administrative and Financial Assistant / Intern Manager responsible for all administrative and financial activities of the branches in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), São Caetano do Sul (SP), Santos (SP), and Salvador (BA). Strategic planning and budgeting for the company. Responsible for managing critical items such as delinquency, fixed costs (Zero-Based Budgeting), closing deadlines, cash flow, and banks. Oversight of letters of guarantee (surety bonds) and other bank credit facilities, as well as negotiations with the main banks in Brazil. Negotiation with suppliers in the procurement process. Completion of the merger process between RV Tecnologia and BM Logística—assuming cash and banking, accounts payable, credit and collections, treasury, and other administrative and financial duties across 10 units in Brazil. Restructuring, integration, and team training. Preparation and monitoring of cash flow. Participation in the implementation of fixed-cost control (ZBB). Monthly presentation of results to shareholders. Opening the São Caetano do Sul branch, setting up operations, and training the team.
