SGS South East Asia Pacific Region encompasses 12 countries ranging from South Asia (India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Myanmar) to South East Asia (Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia) to Australasia (Australia, New Zealand, PNG). The business has a workforce of over 9,000 people covering all 10 industry business units. As Finance Director, my primary role was in support of the Chief Operations Officer, coordinating the CFO's of each country, lead any corporate finance projects or major capital investments, and fulfil the governance responsibilities as a Director on the Board on approx. 50 subsidiary entities.

The SGS Australia Group of Companies is diversified industrial services giant and the largest testing, inspection and certification group in the world and the country. During the time in this role, additional responsibilities included: * GM of the Windrift Logistics business unit * Director of Gearhart Group (Redback Drilling Tools - Houston, Aberdeen, Middle East, Australia), * Director of Expertest Group (Oil & Gas Wireline/Slickline), * Director of Lakefield Oretest (Metallurgy), * Director of Scientific Services Limited * The functions of Procurement, IT, HR, Quality, HSE and Compliance. * Corporate Finance activity involving more than a dozen acquisitions, large and small.

B Digital was a listed Australian telecommunications company before being taken over by Washington H. Soul Pattinson. The COO for the African business was responsible for the complete operations cycle including sales, service, credit, systems, logistics and related support functions.
