Cerence is the global industry leader in creating unique, moving experiences for the automotive world. I was part of the Professional Services team, mainly assigned to the development of various embedded applications and libraries for the Toyota project. Some examples of the applications and work I did: • Maintained, debugged, and applied fixes for cloud services libraries in production utilizing grpc. • Implemented wrappers for internal libraries to allow them to be communicated with via IPC • Implemented a code generator to generate the interface of one such wrapper to allow for re-use between projects and versions. I also took a major role in the project itself, being in charge of integrations of underlying libraries (including some mentioned above) as well as the release process and pipelines. Throughout this there was a heavy focus on: • Multithreaded development and thread safety • Inter-process communications, including serialization and deserialization of data potentially between different operating systems • Optimization of performance, memory footprint, program size.

Nuance Communications builds technology that frees users to be their best selves and enables businesses to do their best work. As part of the Outbound Professional Services team, I worked with automated messaging systems. Individually or in small groups, we were responsible for tailoring the platform to individual customers' needs. • Worked alone or collaborated as part of a development team in an Agile environment. • Coordinated with QA for standard integration testing, and with clients for joint integration testing. • Studied to gain an in depth understanding of the SDK from which we work in order to efficiently determine the solutions required when problems arose. E.g. To know how to override parts of the libraries to get the required functionality, or to know if R&D needs to be involved.
