Full control of site P&L reporting directly to the CEO and CFO, review and minimise costs for all aspects of the business.Ensure all business developments are profitable and feedback on production costs and material mass balances are reported, conduct customer duty of care audits, attended commercial meetings internal and external to ensure full compliance and maximum profitability is achieved. Ensure all site machinery is maintained, maximise capacity and minimise operational costs and downtime via PPM programmes. Full control of the internal engineering team and responsibility for appointment and control of contractors on site, ensure effective processing through all stages of process, support group engineering on both external and internal processing projects. Seek and plan future initiatives for continuous improvement through process change and reduction of resource usage. Define roles and expectations of all employees, mentor and develop staff, all staff training, manage performance and work activities of direct reports daily, IE safety, productivity, conduct, behaviour and attendance, conduct disciplinary action up to and including dismissal. SHEC management, COTC for site, promote a zero harm work place, with a no repeat culture, investigate all near misses, hazards and accidents, compliance and implementation of all company policies including environmental policy, compliance with ISO audits, ensure high standards of 5s, ensure all health and safety standards and procedures are maintained, Liaise with governing bodies, including HSE and Environment Agency, local council and residents. Daily coordination of operational activities, deliver efficient and effective operation at all times, management of yard and logistics.

Goods receipt and dispatch. HR responsibility, SHEC responsibility. Hold TSH and TMH COTC, IOSH. Ordering and control of consumables, load inspection and material quality - value review. Quality feed back to procurement team and client including blue chips. Control of mobile plant including service and maintenance. 5s control. All training requirements and central coordination of training records. H&S systems Environmental systems Control of management systems Internal and external audits - Including ISO 9001,14001,18001 - H&S and Environmental including R2. Liaison with local community, Health and Safety exec and E.A.

Frontline management of shift team, responsible for Health and safety, fixed and mobile plant. Environmental compliance - SHEC supervisor for site, covering site Health and Safety. Material grading Waste Returns.. Asset management systems – servicing Blue Chip clients. Ensure site runs to budget and apply cost reductions as appropriate. HR Responsibility. Environmental sampling. Working closely with Engineering and Facility Manager, to minimise downtime and maximise output, and to ensure site is maintained. Permit and contractor control. Team supervision, mentoring development of team, planning daily activities and reacting to changing priorities, delivering training as required. Reviewing and reporting manning levels and skill levels for shifts, managing supervisors to ensure all shifts operate efficiently, agency recruitment and inductions as required. Maintaining safety within the work place and promoting a zero harm workplace. SHEC Manager, ensuring high levels of compliance to health and safety protocols are maintained, ensuring safety conversations are completed and all actions such as near miss reporting is completed on KMI. Ensuring all legal and ISO compliances are met for 9001, 14001 and 18001. Ensure maximum output through process is achieved, producing highest quality materials possible. Control of movements of incoming and outgoing materials. Working closely and developing good communication with, transport and planners, health and safety department and business development teams. Community liaison office – local residents and council, (including planning) Liaison with E.A. and HSE as required.
