I spent 5 months (self funded) doing various training courses to be a Turbine Technician/ Team leader to develop and transfer my existing Knowledge of construction engineering into "in date training and certification" also training in the Health and Safety side of the Industry (NEBOSH course) to raise my awareness of current safety requirements/ legislation.

I worked in a production facility using mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium, working with machines and hand tools to tight tolerances. MIG and TIG welding on all the materials to the standards specified.

* I worked making recovery vehicles to individual customers specifications. * responsible for the Vehicle from Design, Construction to completion. Then onto delivery to the customer. * all of this work was done with hand tools and some hand operated machinery/Lathes.

B1 combat Engineer course (10 weeks) this included ;concreting, road building, excavations, water supply, bridge building, demolition, power tools (hydraulic/pneumatic/electric). including delivery of training in all subjects to new recruits/trainee's... Royal Engineers Field section commanders course (6 weeks ) -- trained and assessed at my skills knowledge and competency to command a section of Engineers in the combat engineering role under extreme pressure/conditions.
