PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Raytheon Technology Associates (July 2012 to present) As part of the Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) team, developing and applying Twister Workflows to transform large data sets within a Data Factory. The ETL process involves understanding data sets, requirements, Data Modeling (Oracle/MySQL/Marklogic), Data Characterization, Workflow design and implementation (Twister), XML (XSLT/Xpath/XSD/XQuery), custom component development (Java), custom coding (Java, Javascript), SQL, and data Indexing (SOLR,Lucene). The program employs an AGILE/SCRUM methodology, utilizes an Application Lifecycle Management tool (Rally and JIRA) and a Change Management (CM) system (Subversion). Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) structured and unstructured data into XML utilizing the Python programming language. Wrote several Java programs to compare and contrast results from data transformation during the ETL process.

Trusted Concepts, Inc Virginia (June 2007 to July 2012) Perform multiple task using Pentaho, Oracle, Unix Scripts and PL/SQL to prepare data for analysis as part of the ETL, (Extract, transform and load) group. Develop and maintain Oracle 10g and Oracle 11g databases. Created scripts to automate the exporting, remapping and importing of 20+ TeraBytes of data weekly. Troubleshoot and correct any anomalies that occur during importing and exporting data. Set up clone databases for a backup/disaster recovery strategy for multi TeraByte databases. ManTech, Fairfax, Virginia (March 2002 to June 2007) Installed, configured and maintained several Oracle 9i and 10g databases as the Oracle Database Administrator. Developed SQL scripts to create tables, functions, packages, etc for Oracle databases and Oracle applications. Created and troubleshot Oracle store procedures which were used to insert and update information coming from Java web applications. Reversed engineered databases using the ERWin and TOAD software packages. Utilized TOAD to create PL/SQL stored procedures in an ORACLE 10g database, as well as create, trouble shoot, and run Oracle Stored procedures. Created digital certificates using Microsoft's Internet Information Server (IIS) 4.0 and remotely installed digital certificates to several PCs using Microsoft's Internet Explorer Administrator Kit (IEAK). Sign code using digital certificates created using Microsoft's Internet Information Server (IIS) 4.0. Utilized IEAK to configure and lock down settings for the Microsoft Internet Explorer program. EIS International, Herndon, Virginia (June 1997 to September 28, 1998) Developed and maintained a software installation program using InstallShield5 International. Debugged and troubleshot Microsoft Access and Visual Basic applications. Created and maintained a multi-user database using Microsoft Access which tracks and records sales forecast data.

OSP Consultants, Sterling, Virginia (January 1997 to June 1997) Developed Visual Basic and Microsoft Access client server applications. Debugged and repaired existing Microsoft Access applications. Developed and implemented Configuration Management procedures. Computer Sciences Corporation, Falls Church, Virginia (April 1994 to December 1996) Developed Xwindows programs in Motif, which are used to access Sybase databases. Developed multi-user database applications using Microsoft Access and Visual Basic. Developed test procedures and acceptance test plans for classified software. Performed various tests on changes made to the software and documented results in accordance with MIL-STD-2167A. Prepared and assisted in the execution of both Physical and Functional Configuration Audits. Developed and maintained multi-user databases utilizing TCP/IP, dBase IV and a Novel LAN for the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency). Served as the point of contact for all system problems. Functioned as the Novel System administrator (SA). As the LAN SA, was responsible for setting up user accounts, user groups, and LAN security. Dynamic Systems Corporation, Alexandria, Virginia (May 1992 to April 1994) Developed applications using dBase III Plus, dBase IV and FoxPro. Transferred orthographic blueprints to isometric and three-dimensional drawings using AutoCAD. Worked with a technical writing team to incorporate drawings into a maintenance instruction manual used to train NAVSEA personnel. Assembled computers and computer hardware. Installed computer software and was responsible for locating and correcting problems associated with assembly and installation.
