I passed the CPA exam in 1989 and have been a partner at two regional CPA firms in the Chicago land area. With a strong business and tax background I specializes in consulting with my clients to develop financial strategies and to serve as a CFO for hire to the small business client. I started Jones and Co CPA’s and Consultants in the fall of 2008 and merged with Sager, Haines & Co. LLP in the fall 2010. I pride myself on being my client’s best business financial advisor. I also teach undergraduate classes at Aurora University. I am adjunct professor for classes including the Federal Taxation of Individuals and Federal Taxation of Business Entities. My wife and I, Jean, live and work in St. Charles. I believe in supporting the community and have served as the president of St. Charles Breakfast Rotary, St. Charles East High School Boosters and St. Charles Baseball Association
