Paul Mccracken
Global Head of Clinical Imaging and Analytics @ Novartis
About
As Global Head of Clinical Imaging and Analytics at Novartis, I lead global imaging and analytics strategies to accelerate innovative drug development across oncology, neuroscience, cardiovascular, renal, and immunology. My focus is on integrating advanced imaging technologies and AI/ML-driven biomarkers to enable precision medicine and improve patient outcomes worldwide. Previously, as Founder and Principal of RadiaNova Consulting, I partnered with pharmaceutical and biotech organizations to navigate imaging, biomarkers, theranostics, and clinical development. I continue to advise CRO/software/venture/private equity firms on market assessment, technology platform evaluations, and imaging/diagnostics expertise. Under RadiaNova, I served as VP of Dosimetry Services and later as Key Advisor at Voximetry, guiding product strategy and clinical integration for radiopharmaceutical dosimetry solutions. Before founding RadiaNova, I held executive leadership roles at ICON plc, where I expanded the Medical Imaging division into a global leader, managed a large P&L, and spearheaded the acquisition and integration of Biotel Research. Earlier, at Eisai, I established the Imaging Center of Excellence and drove biomarker discovery and translational imaging programs. At Merck, I developed preclinical and translational imaging biomarkers to evaluate efficacy and safety of novel therapies. I hold a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Mayo Clinic, an M.S. in Medical Physics, and a B.S. in Physics, providing a strong technical foundation to align imaging innovation with clinical and business objectives. In addition to my professional work, I serve as Co-Vice President and Board Member of the Irish-American Business Chamber and Network of Philadelphia, fostering economic and educational collaboration between the U.S. and Ireland.
