As Investor Relations Manager my primary focus is ensuring effective two-way communication between the Group and the financial market. Ensuring both existing and potential investors along with analysts, have a clear understanding and appreciation of the Group’s strategy, as well as current and future issues affecting performance, the company and its outlook. - Articulated insurance and accounting concepts to investors (both institutional and retail), analysts and brokers, to assist in their understanding of company specific and industry issues, as well as drivers of performance and current trends. - Organised access to management for investors and analysts. - Supported the Debt IR program by meeting with debt holders, answering ad hoc questions and reviewing Treasury documentation, and assisting with debt raising. - Led the AASB 17 transition stream in preparation for a new global accounting standard. - Oversaw the development of the new management basis reporting for internal and external users, restatement of historical results and highlighting areas of focus for senior management. - Managed the development of global training programs for finance and non-finance staff. - Coordinated the half year and annual results processes, timetable and logistics management and event co-ordination. - Drafted and edited financial reports including development and improvements/redesign to format and narrative. - Reviewed, improved and enhanced the divisional commentary for the financial reporting suite. - Developed and drafted investor presentation including scripts and ASX releases.

I was a leader and manager in the Group Head Office FP&A team, with a primary focus on the continuous development of the global forecasting and budgeting programs, as well as supporting performance reporting of organisational results to the Board and market. - Developed and coordinated the quarterly reforecast process for the Group, including timetable development, liaising with stakeholders to ensure input delivery, and developing reporting outputs. - Oversaw the group-wide business planning process, including timetable development, distributing central assumptions and communications, developing reporting packs, and implementing a central challenge and approval process. - Supervised the Group Head Office budget process, coordination and timetable development, central communications and the review of outputs and oversight of reporting. - Key Finance contact on 3-year strategic planning cycle; developed centralised plans in consultation with stakeholders. - Oversaw reporting outputs for divisional reporting on a quarterly basis. - Contributed to market reporting including annual and half year reports, AGM and investor days.

I led the Internal Reporting team responsible for managing the monthly close process for QBE's Australian businesses. - Led the three-person Internal Reporting team; managed the monthly close process for multiple business units and products, over a number of underwriting and ledger systems, to report A$4.9B of annual premium to senior management. - Led the redevelopment and transition of management reporting and budget systems, following the transition of the general ledger. - Responsible for ongoing development within the financial reporting system.

Part of the 3 person FP&A team who provided senior management and the Board with both financial and non-financial information. GE Money Insurance Services (GWP A$130m) provided insurance to over 2.5 million GE Money customers throughout Australia & New Zealand.
