About

Accomplished Manufacturing Process Engineer, Manager and certified IPC trainer with 29+ years of engineering experience in the Automotive, Aerospace and Defense electronics and harness manufacturing industry. I have spent much of my electronics manufacturing career working with customers such as Lear, Boeing, Raytheon, L3 Communications and General Dynamics to name a few. Early in my career I spent 4 years in North Texas developing, launching and processing multiple Boeing aircraft harness programs. In 2000 I joined Amphenol Borisch Technologies, a subsidiary of Amphenol Corporation as a surface mount engineer and was able to develop the entire automated assembly process into its current state as Amphenol's premier CCA house worldwide. In my role as a manufacturing process engineer I have had the opportunity to introduce multiple new technologies to ABT (2000-2013), Mastek-Innerstep (2013-2014) and Tempronics (2015-2018) including laser marking, 3d solder paste inspection (SPI), 3d automated optical inspection (AOI), 3d x-ray analysis, SMT pick and place and automated conformal coating processes. In 2019 I joined Kimball Electronics - Tampa Florida facility as a Product Engineer. With this new position I was able to work hand-in-hand with the customer and focus on new product introduction of state of the art medical & industrial equipment and tooling. Developing and designing new products and processes from inception to shipping to the end user. I have extensive experience in Mexico maquiladora operations, the automotive market, commercial aviation, avionics, AS9100, Quality Management Systems, ISO Standards including 13485 Medical & IATF 16949 Automotive, FAA regulations and the aerospace and defense manufacturing industries. Major disciplines include customer relations, process quoting, equipment evaluation and implementation, yield improvements, lean 6-sigma, AIAG/PPAP processing, prototyping including DFM recommendations, NPI launching, BGA and SMT processing – includes SMT changeover improvement, SPI & AOI (2D & 3D)– pre / post reflow, final assembly, stencil design and CCA cleaning processes including process failure analysis and the design and development of multiple DoE’s.
